740 - Surplus Lines Insurers
Section 38a-740-11 - Fees

(a) Upon the initial filing of the material required by section 38a-740-4 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies, each eligible insurer shall pay to the commissioner a nonrefundable fee of one thousand dollars by check or money order made payable to the Treasurer, State of Connecticut.

(b) On or before the first day of May of each year after the initial filing of the material required by section 38a-740-4 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies, each insurer authorized as an eligible surplus lines insurer pursuant to section 38a-740-4 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies remaining on the list of eligible surplus lines insurers published pursuant to section 38a-740-8 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies, shall pay to the commissioner an annual fee of sixty three dollars by check or money order made payable to the Treasurer, State of Connecticut.
