Section 38a-528-5 - Prohibition against pre-existing conditions and probationary periods in replacement coverage

If a long-term care certificate replaces another long-term care certificate or individual policy, the replacing insurer shall waive any time periods applicable to preexisting conditions and probationary periods in the new long-term care certificate for similar benefits to the extent that similar exclusions have been satisfied under the original certificate or policy.
