Section 14-227a-2b - General requirements and exemptions

Sections 14-227a-1 b to 14-227a-1 0b, inclusive, of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies, shall apply to the forensic chemical testing of blood, breath and urine when the results thereof may be offered as evidence in a court of law or in an administrative proceeding affecting persons suspected of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drug or both. Sections 14-227a-1b to 14-227a-10b, inclusive, of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies, shall not apply to samples collected and analyzed for other purposes, such as medical diagnostic testing.
