(a) Online gaming operators shall adopt comprehensive house rules for sports wagering and submit them for review and approval by the department prior to offering sports wagering.
(b) House rules shall include, but not be limited to the following:
(1) Method for calculation and payment of
winning wagers;
(2) Description of
the process for handling incorrectly posted events, odds, wagers, or
results;
(3) Effect of schedule
changes;
(4) Method of notifying
patrons of odds or proposition changes;
(5) Acceptance of wagers at other than posted
terms;
(6) Method of contacting the
online gaming operator for questions and complaints;
(7) Description of prohibited
patrons;
(8) A statement regarding
the policy and methods for limiting the maximum amount that a patron can win on
any particular wager; however, such policy will not preclude a patron from
collecting a payout in excess of the purported amount if the system allows the
patron to place a valid wager that pays more than the stated maximum amount;
and
(9) Method of funding a
wager.
(c) The house rules, together with any other information the department deems appropriate, shall be conspicuously displayed in the retail sports wagering facility, easily accessible in the mobile app and on the online gaming operator's website, and included in the terms and conditions of the electronic wagering platform, and copies of the house rules shall be made readily available to patrons.
