6.1. The expiration date for a license to operate a processing facility is December 31st of any given year.

6.2. Prior to initial licensing, poultry processing facilities must undergo and pass a pre-licensing inspection conducted by the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

6.3. Poultry processors who raise and process more than 1,000 of their own poultry per calendar year must be licensed by the Colorado Department of Agriculture.
