Part 5 - Injuries that shall render livestock injured beyond recovery

The following injuries shall render livestock injured beyond recovery for the purposes of this Rule:

5.1. A fracture of a long bone, other fractures, or dislocation of a joint that renders the animal unable to bear weight on the affected limb without that limb collapsing.

5.2. Any injury that in the opinion of the market veterinarian has not or will not respond to treatment and has resulted in the livestock being in poor body condition.

5.3. Any injury that has resulted in the presentation of a non-ambulatory animal.
