2.1. Qualifications and restrictions
2.1.1. An
identified designee shall be an individual who meets the following
requirements:
2.1.1.1. Such person shall
possess a valid small game or furbearer license issued by the CPW;
and
2.1.1.2. Any such person must
have received written authorization from the property owner, operator or lessee
to control depredating animals. Any such authorization shall: contain the
designee's name; contain the name of the property owner, operator or lessee;
identify the target depredating animal(s); and specify the time period and
geographic area in which the identified designee is authorized to take control
measures; and
2.1.1.3. An
identified designee shall not pay, nor shall the property owner, operator, or
lessee accept payment from an identified designee, for the right to act as an
identified designee. Nothing herein prohibits the property owner, operator, or
lessee from paying an identified designee for services.
2.1.2. Wildlife Services, the Department, or
any other government agency shall not be an identified designee.
