1.1 Authority: Sections 25-1-107(1)(m), 25-1-108(1)(c), and 25-13-104, Colorado Revised Statutes 1973.

1.2 Adopted: February 19, 1975

1.3 Effective Date:

1.4 Purpose: The purpose of these "Standards and Regulations" for campgrounds and recreation areas is to provide minimum requirements for the protection of the health and safety of the occupants of campgrounds, recreation areas, and the general public.

1.5 Application:

a. The provisions of these "Standards and Regulations" are applicable to the maintenance, sanitation, occupancy, and use of campgrounds, and recreation areas as defined.

b. These regulations shall not limit the powers and duties of other government agencies to issue such orders and adopt such rules and regulations as stringent as or more stringent than herein as may be necessary for the local public health and safety.
