Section 7272 - Personal Goal Services

(a) An individual meeting the conditions specified in Section 7270 may receive services from a Counselor-teacher providing the Counselor-teacher has determined that all of the following conditions exist:
(1) The individual is
both of the following:
(A) At least 18 years of
age.
(B) A California resident which
shall be established by physical presence with no present intention of leaving
California. However, if the individual maintains a home for himself/herself in
another state, he/she is not a California resident.
(2) The individual has a demonstrated need for the
specialized services that can be performed by the Counselor-teacher.
(3) There is a reasonable expectation that the
individual has the ability to substantially benefit from the specialized services
within a limited period of time.
(b) Personal goal services shall:
(1) Be provided directly by the
Counselor-teacher.
(2) Include, but not
be limited to, those services specified in Section
19525,
Welfare and Institutions Code.
(3) Be
provided in the individual's home or a community-based setting.
