(a) Within 20 days following issuance of a notice of intent to conduct election in the appropriate unit, any employee organization may file an intervention to appear on the ballot. The intervention shall be filed with PERB and include the information required in Section 95030(a). The intervention shall be accompanied by proof of support of at least 30 percent of the employees in the appropriate unit. Proof of support is defined in Section 32700.

(b) Service of the intervention, excluding the proof of support, and proof of service pursuant to Section 32140 are required.
