Apprentices shall work under and with competent journeyworkers and/or instructors and shall be assigned to work and learning tasks so that they obtain the diversified training on-the-job provided for in the apprenticeship standards.

1. New NOTE filed 9-27-82; effective thirtieth day thereafter (Register 82, No. 40).
2. Amendment filed 1-25-85; effective thirtieth day thereafter (Register 85, No. 4).
3. Amendment filed 2-9-2021; operative 4-1-2021 (Register 2021, No. 7). Filing deadline specified in Government Code section 11349.3(a) extended 60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order N-40-20 and an additional 60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order N-71-20.
