Section 3024.7 - Certification of Grapevines by a Second Party

Grapevines produced by a participant in the certification program in accordance with the provisions of the Grapevine Certification Program may be eligible for certification by a second party provided:

(a) The second party submits an application and signs the agreement required by California Code of Regulations, Title 3, Section 3069. In the "Stock Record" section of the application shall be entered "Second Party Certification."

(b) The certification tags are filled out by the second party with their firm name and address and the block number.

(c) The second party shall submit to the Department an inventory of all grapevines and the sources for second party certification.

(d) The second party shall inform the Department where the grapevines are stored prior to shipping.
