Section 1430.43 - Citrus, Delayed Evidence of Freezing
Whenever an enforcement officer has reason to believe that any lot or container of citrus is not free from serious damage due to freezing as defined in Sections 1430.23, 1430.30, 1430.33, 1430.39, and 1430.48, and such damage cannot be detected by immediate examination, he may take for inspection a representative sample. The packer, owner, or person in possession of such lot shall be notified that the sample has been taken, and the examination shall be made within a reasonable time.
