Section 1366 - Standardization Assessment Rates for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (Commodities)

Every person acting as a handler of commodities shall submit reports and assessments as provided by the California Food and Agricultural Code, Section 42808. The assessment rates are as follows:

(a) For commodities that are not otherwise subject to a mandatory inspection fee (Non-Mandatory) shall be 4 mills ($0.004) per container.

(b) For commodities that are otherwise subject to a mandatory inspection fee (Mandatory) shall be 2 mills ($0.002) per container.

The above rates shall take effect and be payable on containers shipped on or after July 1, 2021.
