Section 450 - Ultra-Filtered Milk Products

(a) Ultra-filtered milk products are market milk products resulting from the filtration of milk to alter the relative quantities of milk solids not fat components, including proteins, lactose, and minerals.
(b) Except as otherwise provided in this article, ultra-filtered milk products shall meet all standards and requirements that are specified in Division 15 (commencing with section 32501) of the Food and Agricultural Code for market milk.
(c) Ultra-filtered milk products shall be labeled in accordance with the applicable provisions of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

No. 33). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 2-10-2016 or
emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following
day.

4-7-2016 (Register 2016, No. 15). A Certificate of Compliance must be
transmitted to OAL by 7-6-2016 or emergency language will be repealed by
operation of law on the following day.
3. Certificate of Compliance
as to 4-7-2016 order transmitted to OAL 5-19-2016 and filed 6-30-2016 (Register
2016, No. 27). This section shall be repealed by operation of law three years
from the date of the initial emergency adoption or if the conditions regarding
renewal of temporary milk standards in Food and Agricultural Code sections
36631-36637 are not satisfied,
whichever occurs first.
