Upon request, a holder of a license of eligibility who is not employed by a County Agricultural or Weights and Measures office or by the California Department of Food and Agriculture or by the Department of Pesticide Regulation, but who otherwise meets the minimum qualifications for the class, or has served as an incumbent in the class, may renew his/her license at the time of its expiration upon successful completion of requalifying examinations.

1. Amendment filed 8-11-77; effective thirtieth day thereafter (Register 77, No. 33).
2. Amendment of section and new NOTE filed 10-4-95; operative 10-4-95 pursuant to Government Code section 11343.4(d) (Register 95, No. 40).
