Section 3959.10 - Tribal and Subsistance Beneficial Use Definitions to the Water Quality Control Plan for the Lohontan Region

On September 16, 2020, the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board adopted Resolution No. R6T-2020-0057 amending the Water Quality Control Plan for the Lahontan Region (Basis Plan). The State Water Resources Control Board approved the amendment under Resolution No. 2021-0017 on May 18, 2021.

Resolutin No. R6T-2020-0057 adds definitions for three new beneficial uses to the Basin Plan. The beneficial uses added to the Basin Plan are Tribal Tradititional Culture (CUL), Tribal Subsistence Fishing (T-SUB), and Subsistence Fishing (SUB). The Basin Plan amendment does not designate any water bodies with these beneficial uses.
