Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board Resolution R5-2017-0032, adopted 6 April 2017, amends the Water Quality Control Plan for the Tulare Lake Basin to remove the MUN and AGR beneficial use designations from groundwater within a delineated horizontal and vertical portion of the historical Tulare Lake Bed based on existing poor groundwater quality (high salinity).

1. New section summarizing amendments to basin plan filed 12-26-2017; amendments approved by State Water Resources Control Board Resolution No. 2017-0048 on 9-6-2017; approved by OAL pursuant to Government Code section 11353 on 12-26-2017 (Register 2017, No. 52).
2. Nonsubstantive amendments to the Basin Plan to reformat Table II-3 and Figure II-3 filed 5-24-2018; amendments adopted 10-20-2017 by Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board Resolution No. R5-2017-0106; approved 2-6-2018 by State Water Resources Control Board Resolution No. 2018-0005; approved by OAL pursuant to Government Code section 11353 on 5-24-2018 (Register 2018, No. 21).
