Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board Resolution R5-2014-0047, adopted on 28 March 2014, amends the Water Quality Control Plan for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins to require implementation of a groundwater management strategy, to de-designate the MUN and AGR groundwater beneficial uses in certain areas of the Royal Mountain King Mine Site, and to establish groundwater variances for the IND and PRO groundwater beneficial uses for certain constituents in those same areas.
