(a) On June 18, 2015, the North Coast Water Board adopted Resolution No. R1-2015-0013 to make nonsubstantive revisions to Section 1 (Introduction) and 5 (Plans and Policies) amending the Basin Plan. The purpose of the editorial amendments is to make the Basin Plan more user-friendly through non-regulatory language changes such as grammatical corrections, section reordering corrections, and updated language. On February 16, 2016, the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) approved the amendment under Resolution No. 2016-0009.

(b) On June 18, 2015, the North Coast Water Board adopted Resolution No. R1-2015-0018 to update Section 3 (Water Quality Objectives) of the Basin Plan. The amendment includes updates to the existing water quality objectives for chemical constituents and dissolved oxygen. Additionally, a new water quality objective for groundwater toxicity was adopted. The amendment revises outdated numeric values, revises narrative objectives for consistency, and clarifies the application of narrative water quality objectives. On February 16, 2016, the State Water Board approved the amendment under Resolution No. 2016-0009.
