Article 8 - Lead Service Line Requirements for Action Level Exceedances
Section 64689 - Lead Service Line Sampling

(a) Each lead service line sample shall be one liter in volume and have stood motionless in the lead service line for at least six hours, but not more than twelve.
(b) Lead service line samples shall be collected in one of the following three ways:
1. New
article 8 and section filed 12-11-95 as an emergency; operative 12-11-95
(Register 95, No. 50). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL
by 4-9-96 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the
following day.
2. Refiling of 12-11-95 order, including amendment of
NOTE, filed 4-9-96 as an emergency; operative 4-10-96 (Register 96, No. 15). A
Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 8-8-96 or emergency
language will be repealed by operation of law on the following
day.
3. Certificate of Compliance as to 12-11-95 order, including
amendment of subsection (b), transmitted to OAL 8-7-96 and filed 9-16-96
(Register 96, No. 38).
4. Repealer of article 8 (sections
64689-64690) and repealer and new section filed 9-11-2003; operative 10-11-2003
(Register 2003, No. 37).
