Section 63770 - Distribution System Staff Certification Requirements

(a) Chief and shift operators shall possess valid operator certificates pursuant to Table 63770-A.

(b) Water systems shall utilize only certified distribution operators to make decisions addressing the following operational activities:

1. New
section filed 12-26-2000 as an emergency; operative 1-1-2001 (Register 2000,
No. 52). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 5-1-2001 or
emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following
day.
2. New section refiled 4-25-2001 as an emergency; operative
5-2-2001 (Register 2001, No. 17). A Certificate of Compliance must be
transmitted to OAL by 8-30-2001 or emergency language will be repealed by
operation of law on the following day.
3. Certificate of Compliance
as to 4-25-2001 order transmitted to OAL 7-12-2001 and filed 8-13-2001
(Register 2001, No. 33).
