Section 41518.8 - Congenital Anomalies

(a) CCS applicants with congenital anomalies shall be medically eligible for participation in the CCS program when the congenital anomaly is amenable to cure, correction, or amelioration; and
(b) The following conditions shall not be medically eligible for the CCS program when the application for eligibility is based solely on their presence:
1. New
section filed 5-6-99 as an emergency; operative 5-6-99 (Register 99, No. 19). A
Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 9-3-99 or emergency
language will be repealed by operation of law on the following
day.
2. New section refiled 9-7-99 as an emergency; operative 9-7-99
(Register 99, No. 37). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL
by 1-5-2000 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the
following day.
3. New section refiled 12-23-99 as an emergency;
operative 12-23-99 (Register 99, No. 52). A Certificate of Compliance must be
transmitted to OAL by 4-21-2000 or emergency language will be repealed by
operation of law on the following day.
4. New section refiled
4-18-2000 as an emergency; operative 4-18-2000 (Register 2000, No. 16). A
Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 8-16-2000 or emergency
language will be repealed by operation of law on the following
day.
5. Certificate of Compliance as to 4-18-2000 order transmitted
to OAL 5-24-2000 and filed 7-7-2000 (Register 2000, No. 27).

Change without regulatory effect renumbering former section 41518.8 to new
section 41472 and renumbering former
section 41868 to section 41518.8,
including amendment of NOTE, filed 1-28-2009 pursuant to section
100, title 1, California Code of
Regulations (Register 2009, No. 5).
