The liens identified in Section 22601.8 also are filed with the Secretary of State pursuant to statutes other than the UCC. The liens are treated by the Secretary of State's office substantially the same as financing statements and are included on search responses pursuant to Commercial Code Section 9528.
1. New article 6 (sections 22601.7-22601.8) and section filed 6-21-2004; operative 6-21-2004 pursuant to Government Code section 11343.4 (Register 2004, No. 26).
