Section 18361.7 - Executive Director Subpoena Authority
Notwithstanding 2 Cal. Code Regs. Section 18319:
The Executive Director has the authority to issue a subpoena on behalf of the Commission pursuant to Sections 83118 and 11450.05 et seq. The Executive Director may authorize the issuance of a subpoena duces tecum if the Executive Director finds, based on information submitted in writing, that the information requested in the subpoena is material to a specific matter under investigation, and the Executive Director reasonably believes the person or entity has the desired information under its control.
