Section 599.729 - Annual Review of Requirements
On an annual basis, all concerned agencies will review uniform requirements using Government Code sections 19850 and 19850.2 as guidelines. The review will cover, but not necessarily be limited to, justification, need, new fabrics, new designs, outdated requirements, new requirements, up-to-date costs, and average life of articles. All recommendations will be forwarded to the Department no later than May 1 each year.
