Section 599.705.1 - Compensating Time off (CTO) - Excluded Employees

An excluded employee is defined in section 599.615(b) of these regulations.

(a) Notwithstanding section 599.705 of these regulations, for excluded employees in Work Week Groups 1 and 4, the appointing power may, on a case-by-case basis, extend the period in which CTO may be granted by six (6) pay periods. If the CTO balance is not granted within the six (6) pay periods, the provisions of section 599.705 of these regulations shall apply.

(b) Compensating time off for excluded employees in Work Week Subgroup 4A shall be earned on a time and one-half basis and may be authorized in lieu of cash compensation.
