(a) An excluded employee is defined in Government Code section 3527(b) (Ralph C. Dills Act).
(b) The Department will provide for an Employee Assistance Program for excluded employees. The Employee Assistance Program shall be the Department's plan and provide for problem assessment and referral services.
(c) Employee Assistance Program services shall be available to excluded employees and their eligible family members for a period of six months following the employee's actual date of separation from state service due to layoff, provided the number of visits allowed for that year has not been exhausted.
