Excluded employees as defined in section 599.615(b) of these regulations who are eligible for the 1959 Survivor Benefit will be covered by the increased 1959 Survivor Benefit pursuant to Government Code section 21581. This benefit will be payable to family members of an eligible excluded employee who dies on or after January 1, 1985.
