Section 1381.9 - Renewal of Expired License; Reapplication After Cancelled License

(a) In the event a licensee does not renew their license as provided in section 2982 of the Code, the license expires. In addition to any other requirements, a licensee renewing pursuant to section 2984 of the Code shall furnish a full set of fingerprints as required by and set out in section 1381.7(b) as a condition of renewal.
(b) After a license has been expired for three years, the license is automatically cancelled, and a new license must be obtained in order to provide psychological services. A person whose license has been cancelled may obtain a new license pursuant to the requirements in section 2986 of the Code, and providing the person:
1. New section
filed 2-2-2011; operative 3-4-2011 (Register 2011, No. 5).
2.
Amendment of section heading, section and NOTE filed 6-29-2022; operative
10-1-2022 (Register 2022, No. 26). Transmission deadline specified in
Government Code section
11346.4(b)
extended 60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order N-40-20 and an additional
60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order N-71-20. Filing deadline specified
in Government Code section
11349.3(a)
extended 60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order N-40-20 and an additional
60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order
N-71-20.
