Section 3999.219 - Release of Information Access Line

(a) The Department shall maintain a dedicated telephone to serve as a Release of Information (ROI) Access Line or extension at each institution for the use of an authorized family member, friend, or legal representative of the patient to request health care information relating to a significant change in the patient's health care condition or status.
(b) All verbal requests for health care information shall be referred to the ROI Access Line at the local institution or the Patient Health Care Inquiry Line at headquarters.

transmitted to OAL by 6-8-2020 or emergency language will be repealed by
operation of law on the following day.

as to 3-9-2020 order transmitted to OAL 6-8-2020 and filed 7-20-2020 (Register
2020, No. 30).
