(a) Pursuant to PC Sections 3056, 3057 and 3060.5, the following shall apply:
(1) Unless otherwise
provided by law, for all supervised persons with a parole hold/discovery date
on or after October 1, 2011, the parole hold shall not remain in effect for
longer than 180 days.
(2) For
purposes of this Section, the discovery date is the date the parole supervising
authority obtains knowledge that an alleged violation of parole has
occurred.
