Current through Register 2024 Notice Reg. No. 38, September 20, 2024

When incarcerated persons fight, the participants must be separated at once. The participants will be placed in detention, unless in the judgment of a superior officer circumstances do not warrant such action. Employees who observe the fight will prepare a written report stating clearly everything they observed, and will submit this report to the disciplinary officer. The employee who renders the report should, if possible, state who was the aggressor. The report will include the time, place, names of participants, name(s) of aggressor(s), the reason for the fight if it can be ascertained, weapons used if any, names of witnesses, action taken if any, and recommendations to prevent further recurrences.
