Section 935.2 - Treatment of Vegetative Matter

(a) Piling, burning, and other treatment of Snags, Slash and vegetative matter and protection of desirable residual trees during Site Preparation shall comply with 14 CCR §§ 937 through 937.7.

(b) Broadcast Burning shall not fully consume the larger organic debris which retains soil on slopes and stabilizes Watercourse Banks. The Director may approve exceptions to individual requirements when such exceptions are explained and justified in the THP and the exceptions would provide for the protection of the Beneficial Uses of water or control erosion to a standard at least equal to that which would result from application of the standard rule.
