Section 345.27 - Seasonal Closure of Public Schools

A public school that offers traffic violator school classes shall not be required to comply with Section 345.40(b) regarding monthly submission of schedules, Section 345.40(e) regarding scheduling and offering a minimum of one class per location in a judicial district, or Section 345.50(a)(1) or (2) regarding minimum office hours, during the time that the entire public school is closed to the public provided that:

(a) The school offers classes only at the public school facility;

(b) The school notifies the department of the closure 60 days in advance; and

(c) The school closure does not exceed two months in any twelve month period.
