Section 2509.8 - Debt Security Rating and Listing Requirements
Any government debt security or non-government debt security listed on a national securities exchange which meets all other requirements in this Article and which has at least an "A3" rating by Moody's Investors Service, Inc., "A-" by Standard & Poor's, "A-" by Fitch Ratings, or a comparable rating if the rating symbols are changed, is acceptable for deposit. Non-governmental debt securities which are traded over the counter and which meet all other requirements of this Article, must have at least an "Aa3" rating by Moody's Investors Service, Inc., "AA-" by Standard & Poor's or "AA-" by Fitch Ratings acceptable for deposit. Promissory notes as defined in Section 2509.6(i) or debt securities of banks and savings and loan associations need not meet the requirements contained in this section.
