Section 2232.3 - Required Changes in Uniform Language

If any compulsory or optional uniform provision set forth in Section 2232.8 or in Sections 2232.16 to 2232.40, inclusive of this article is in whole or in part inapplicable to or inconsistent with the coverage provided in the policy, the insurer shall, with the approval of the commissioner, either omit entirely from the policy or modify any inapplicable provision or alternative provision, or shall modify any inconsistent provision or alternative provision in such manner as to make the provision as contained in the policy consistent with the coverage so provided.
