By virtue of the Attorney General's opinion under date of July 26, 1948, the writing of excess aggregate (stop loss) and excess catastrophe (straight excess) was declared to be subject to the minimum rating law (Ins. C. 11730 to 11742), and the policy approval law. (Ins. C. 11650 to 11662)*
