Section 2103 - Information; Not Required; Severability

Any bail licensee may secure from any person with whom the bail licensee engaged in a bail transaction information in addition to that required by these rules or that person's signature to documents other than those required by these rules. If such information is secured as a part of the same document which contains any of the information required by these rules, it shall be clearly severable and the licensee, in using such document, may, at the licensee's discretion, omit the use of the portion of it which is not required by these rules.

1. Change without regulatory effect amending section and adding NOTE filed 7-11-2016 pursuant to section 100, title 1, California Code of Regulations (Register 2016, No. 29).
2. Change without regulatory effect amending section filed 7-14-2021 pursuant to section 100, title 1, California Code of Regulations (Register 2021, No. 29). Filing deadline specified in Government Code section 11349.3(a) extended 60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order N-40-20.
