Section 2064 - Bail Licensees; Capacity and Conduct

Every bail licensee shall conduct the bail licensee's business in such a manner that the public and those dealing with the bail licensee shall be aware of the capacity in which the bail licensee is acting, and if the bail licensee transacts bail both as an employee and as an individual or in any other dual capacity, each such transaction shall be so conducted that the public and those dealing with the bail licensee shall not be confused as to the capacity in which the bail licensee acts.

1. Change without regulatory effect redesignating subject heading as subarticle 4 and adding NOTE filed 7-11-2016 pursuant to section 100, title 1, California Code of Regulations (Register 2016, No. 29).
2. Change without regulatory effect amending section filed 7-14-2021 pursuant to section 100, title 1, California Code of Regulations (Register 2021, No. 29). Filing deadline specified in Government Code section 11349.3(a) extended 60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order N-40-20.
