Section 80.4304 - Certificate of Good Standing

(a) In case an applicant is a foreign corporation, such applicant shall, not less than five business days before being issued a license, file with the Commissioner a Certificate of Good Standing--Foreign Corporation of the Secretary of State of the State of California, certifying that the applicant has qualified to transact intrastate business in the State of California and is in good corporate standing under the laws of the State of California.
(b) In case an applicant is a foreign limited liability company, such applicant shall, not less than five business days before being issued a license, file with the Commissioner a Certificate of Good Standing--Foreign Limited Liability Company of the Secretary of State of the State of California, certifying that the applicant has qualified to transact intrastate business in the State of California and is in good standing under the laws of the State of California.
