Section 10.14779 - Deposit Documents

(a) A subject institution shall set forth conspicuously on the face side or facing page, as the case may be, of each signature card and any other contract for a deposit at its subject offices and of each passbook, certificate, or other document which evidences, or constitutes a receipt for, a deposit at its subject offices a notice stating, in substance, that such deposit is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
(b) Subdivision (a) of this Section shall not be deemed to require that a subject institution set forth on any negotiable certificate of deposit in the sum of $250,000 or more a notice that such deposit is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, provided that such subject institution gives the depositor at or before the time when the deposit is made a written notice stating, in substance, that the deposit is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
