Rule 233.01.20-003 - Minimum Hours of Operation and Guidelines for Facility Hours
Purpose: This rule establishes minimum hours of operation and guidelines to ensure consistent facility hours for all Division of Arkansas State Parks (ASP) properties.
ASP properties (including state parks and museums) and their facilities will be available to the public during reasonable hours and for regular periods with appropriate standards to ensure the health, safety, and accessibility of visitors and personnel. * Year-round facilities will be open Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with extended weekday and weekend hours at the discretion of the ASP Director.
* ASP's museum properties will be open to the public Wednesday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with extended weekday and weekend hours at the discretion of the ASP Director.
* Select parks and facilities may be closed on state holidays, at the discretion of the ASP Director.
* The ASP Central Office and Regional Administrative Offices will operate during regular state government business hours.
* All hours of operation will be reviewed annually by the ASP Director and posted on the ASP website.
