Rule 016.24.05-001 - Public Health Laboratory: Public Health Laboratory Fees

SECTION I. AUTHORITY

The following Rules and Regulations pertaining to Public Health Laboratory Fees are duly adopted and promulgated by the Arkansas Board of Health pursuant to the authority expressly conferred by the laws of the State of Arkansas Including, without limitation, Act 96 of 1913 (Ark. Code Ann. §§ 20-7-101 through 20-7-130) and Act 990 of 1991 (Ark. Code Ann. § 20-7-114).

SECTION II. PURPOSE

To protect the health of the citizens of Arkansas by ensuring that laboratory services are maintained in a highly professional manner that complies with established standards.

SECTION III. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

The Arkansas Board of Health shall establish a fee of $17.00 to be charged to perform a coliform analysis for private water samples.

SECTION IV. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Rules and Regulations or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of these Rules and Regulations which can give effect without the invalid provisions or applications, and to this end the provisions hereto are declared severable.

SECTION V. REPEAL

All regulations and parts of regulations in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
