Rule 006.06.19-029 - Thoroughbred Rule 1050(a) Definition of "Objection"

1050. "Objection" is:

(a) a written complaint made to the Stewards concerning a horse entered in a race (other than a complaint growing out of happenings in the running of the race) and filed with the Stewards not later than the time period for protest set forth in Rule 2359; or

(b) a verbal claim of foul in a race lodged by the horse's jockey, trainer, owner or the owner's authorized agent to the Stewards before the race is declared official.
