02.02 GUN DEER SEASONS (1983). It shaU be unlaw- ful to take or attempt to take deer with modem firearms other'than during the declared open seasons as specified herein:

November 12-20. 1983. Zone 4 Closed. November 25 & 26. 1983. Zone 4 Closed. December 12 - 17. 1983. Zones 2 and 4 Closed. (Ref: 02.03 Muzzle-Loading Deer Season). PENALTY: $200.00 to $500.00.

02.03 1983-84 MUZZLE-LOADING DEER SEASONS. It shall be unlawful to take or attempt to take deer with muzzle-loading firearms other than during the declared open muzzle-loading deer seasons as specified herein: 1983-84 Muzzle-Loading Deer Seasons:

October 22-30. 1983 and December 19. 1983 - January 2, 1984 open to either-sex in zones 1.3,5.9,11,13 and 20; bucks only in zones 2.6,7,8 and 10. November 21. 1983 - January 2, 1984 in zones 12,14,15,16,17 and 19. Either-sex except bucks only during the regular gun hunts. Zorie 4 and certain WMA's closed. Ref; 21.04. 21.04-A and 02.14-A. EXCEPTION:

(1) In areas open during regular gun deer seasons. PENALTY: $200.00 to $500.00.

02.04 WILD TURKEY SEASONS (1983-84). It shaU be unlawful to take wild turicey other than during the declared open seasons as specilied herein: 1983-84 Fall Wild Turkey Archery and Crossbow Season:

October 1, 1983 through February 29, 1984, only in zones 1,5,8,9,10,11 and 20. Closed in the following counties or parts of counties within said zones: Faulkner County. Lonoke County, Monroe County north of U.S. Highway 79, Washington County, the Weddington Unit of the Ozark National Forest and certain Wildlife Management Areas (Ref: 23.00 Wild Turkey Regulations on Certain WMA 's) 1984 Spring Wild Turkey Gun & Archery Season:

April 1, 1984 - May 6, 1984, only in Zone 20. April 9, 1984 - May 6, 1984 in all open zones. Closed in Zone 4 and the following counties, parts of counties and Wildlife Management Areas: Little River, Miller, Lafayette, Columbia, Union, Ashley, Washington, Faulkner, White, Lonoke, Woodruff, Cleburne, Independence, Izard, Jackson and Lawrence Counties; Clark and Hot Springs Counties east of Interstate 30; Cleveland County north and east of High-.. way 35; Weddington Unit of the Ozark National Forest; Pine Bluff Arsenal; and the following Wildlife Management Areas: Bayou DeView, Big Lake, Bois d'Arc, Buffalo River, Camp Robinson (both areas), Cut-Off Creek, Dagmar, Dave Donaldson/ Black River, Harris Brake, Hope, Hurricane Lake, Lafayette County, Madison County, Rex Hancock/Black Swamp, Shirey Bay-Rainey Brake, St. Francis Sunken Lands, Sulphur River and Wattensaw. PENALTY: $200.00 to $500.00.

(1) Coyote, Rabbit, and Squirrel during open gun deer seasons.

(2) Crow during open gun deer seasons when gun deer season dates include portions of crow season.

PENALTY: $50.00 to $300.00.

02.12 GAME ANIMAL DAILY BAG LIMIT AND POS- SESSION RESTRICTIONS. It shaU be unlawful to take or attempt to take more than the daily bag limit of any game species set forth by the Commission as specifled herein: (Ref: Section 01.00 -C Bag Limit). The possession limit shall not exceed two (2) daily bag limits or as otherwise specified herein:

(A) Deer: (Residents)
1. Resident individual limit of two(2) deer with modem firearms for ail combined regular gun deer seasons; or

2. Resident individual limit of fouri4) deer with primitive weapons (muzzle-loader, archery/crossbow) for all combined deer seasons; or

3. Resident individual limit of two(2) deer with modem firearms and two(2) deer with primitive weapons for all combined deer seasons.

(B) Deer: (Non-Residents)
1. Non-resident individual limit of two(2) deer with modern firearms for all combined regular gun deer seasons; or

2. Non-resident individual limit of four (4) deer provided at least one deer is taken with muzzle-loader and at least one deer is taken -with archery/crossbow tackle.i

(C) Quail:^

Daily bag limit: 8; Possession limit, 16.

(D) Rabbit:

Daily bag limit:-8; Possession limit, 16.

(E) Raccoon:

No daily bag limit.. .

(F) Squirrel-

Daily bag limit: 8; Possession limit, 16.

(G) Wild Turkey: (Gun):

Residents: Individual limit of three (3) wild turkey for 1984 spring season providing-at least one (1) is taken in Zone 11 or 20.

Non-Residents: Individual limit of three (3) wild turkey for combined 1983 fall and 1984 spring season providing no more than one is taken in one (1) season except in m zones 11 or 20. Wild Turkey: (Archery)

Residents: Individual limit of three (3) wild turkey for 1984 spring season providing at least one (1) is taken in zone 11 or 20.. ,

Non-Residents: Individual limit of three (3) wild turkey for combined 1983 fall and 1984 spring season providing no more than two (2) are taken in one (1) season except in zones 11 or 20. PENALTY: $150.00 to $500.00, and hunting privUeges may be suspended for a period of up to one (1) year.
