It shall be Unlawful for any person to fish in or trespass on Lake Hogue, Poinsett County, during the months of November and December.

PENALTY: $25.00 - $250.00

ORDER

It shall be unlawful for any person to fish in or trespass on Lake Hogue, Poinsett Gounty, during the months of November and December*

PENALTY: #25.00 - $250.00

ORDER

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to import or transport into, or use or possess within the State, for any purpose whatsoever, any of the following species of fish: Stickleback; Piranha; Mexican Banded Tetra; Walking Catfish.

PENALTY: #250.00 - $500.00

ORDER

It shall be unlawful for any person to remove any artifacts, soil, gravel, rocks, or other material from any lands owned or controlled by the Commission, or to make any excavations for archeological or other purposes, without first obtaining permission in writing from the Commission.

PENALTY: #50.00 - #500.00

ORDKR

It shall be unlawful for any person to kill more than two deer during all combined hunting periods, except a person may kill a bonus anterless deer in Zone 21 during the Nov. 10-15 gun period; in Zone 17, 18, and 20 during the Nov. 27-29 gun period, by special permits, or by a special permit which may be issued by the Director during any gun hunt in other areas of the state.

PENALTY: $100.00 - 1300.00 .

ORDER

It shall be unlawful to hunt or kill deer with firearms in the St. Francis National Forest during any of the gun seasons for deer in 1969-

ORDER

It shall be unlawful to use any dog to hunt, chase, or pursue deer in Zone 12 during the open gun season covering November 27, 28, 29, 1969*

PENALTY: $25.00 - #250.00

ORDER

It shall be unlawful to use commercial fishing tackle in lakes constructed and managed by the Commission except for the following lakes during the time stated:

Cox Creek Lake

October 1 through November 30, 1969

Lake Conway -

October 1 through April 30, 1970

Harris Brake Lake -

January 1, 1970 through January 31, 1970

Lake Overcup

January 1 through January 31, 1970

Lake Poinsett

February 1> 1970 through March 31, 1970

Lake Atkins

March 1, 1970 through March 31, 1970

No commercial fishing equipment may be used on these lakes except trammel and gill nets, and mesh may not be smaller than 3g~ inches.

ORDER

Now on this day comes on for hearing before the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission a request from the U, S. Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, to zone certain areas around the Federal Water Impoundments now being constructed in Arkansas and those impoundments previously completed by the Corps of Engineers, and the question of zoning areas around impoundments in the State of Arkansas heretofore constructed by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and those now under construction and to be constructed in the future, and it appearing to the Commission that there is a need that certain restrictions be placed upon and near these impoundment areas for the benefit of fish and wildlife and for protection of the public.

It is therefore by the Commission in accordance with the authority vested by the Arkansas Boating Law as provided in Act U53, Acts of 1959 as amended by Act 14-0, Acts of 1963 and by Amendment No. 35 to the Constitution of Arkansas Ordered; that the operation of all vessels, boats, floating rafts or other floating devices being and are prohibited from entering the area downstream below any dam or impoundment constructed and maintained by the U. S* Corps of Engineers on any stream in the State of Arkansas, or any impoundment that my be constructed in the future by said Corps of Engineers, for a distance of 300 feet, whether such boats, vessels or other floating objects are being used in fishing, boatriding,

or skiing, except that this Order does not apply to commercial river traffic nor boats used by U. S. Corps of Engineers' or contractors in work on dams under construction and maintenance thereof, nor does this Order apply to enforcement officers of State or Federal

Governments.

And it is further ordered that no persons shall fish from or enter upon the dam proper or any retaining wall or part thereof, or to fish in any manner within 300 feet of said dam, either above or below, where danger signs, no tresspassing and no fishing signs may be placed by the Corps of Engineers,

And it is further provided that no persons shall enter*upon any structure constructed by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission on its own impoundments where danger signs are posted by the ' Commission.

All laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

It shall be unlawful to trespass or hunt water fowl on Commission's Public Hunting Areas except as set out below:

All shooting shall end at noon on the following'areas: Dagmar Area; Petit Jean Area lying East of Hwy. 7, including Pullen Pond; Nimrod Area; Lake Conway; Harris Brake Area; Bayou De View Area (Hunters must have permit to hunt on Bayou De View Area and must check in and out of Area); Vallier .School Impoundment North of Vallier School House and East of Double ditches and Hallowell Reservoir on Bayou Meto Area; Little River Island on Black River Area; All lands lying North of New Cut Road on Shirey Bay-Rainey Brake Area; That part of HurricaneLake Area lying South and West of Glaze Creek Road from Mitchell Corner to Whirl Lake, and West of the road from Whirl Lake to Honey Lake Dam and Little Red River.

No hunting allowed on following parts of Areas: Mallard Lake on Big Lake Area; Bois D'Arc Lake; Harris Brake Lake; all lands lying East of Bayou De View on Bayou De View Area; no hunting or trespassing on Wrape Plantation or Headquarters Area on Bayou Meto Area; Waterfowl Rest Area in Sections 16 and 21, T19N, R3E, on Black River Area; Waterfowl Rest Area in Sections 7 and 8, T16N, R2W, on Shirey Brake-Rainey Brake Area.

All day hunting allowed on all areas or parts of areas not restricted above.

PENALTY: #25.00 - $250.00

ORDER AMENDED

It shall be unlawful to take game fiah, including catfish, by gigging.

Scaled rough fish may be taken in all waters by gigging, for personal use only, during December and January only, and from sunrise until sunset only,

with the following exceptions: From Oct. 1 through Jan. 31, scaled rough fish may be gigged on Devil's Fork of Little Red River above Greers Ferry Lake,

starting at the Junction of Raccoon Creek and Beech Fork Creek upstream on both forks, and on South Sylamore Creek from Hwy. 14- bridge upstream, and time for such gigging is limited to the period from sunrise until midnight;

scaled rough fish may be taken by gig, spear, bow and arrow, and underwater diving gear with spear guns during the entire year from sunrise until sunset in the following waters only; Lakes Norfork, Bull Shoals, Table Rock, Blue

Ouachita Mountain, Nimrod,/Hamilton, Catherine, Greeson, Greers Ferry, Conway, Harris

Brake, Beaver, Millwood, Erling, and all impoundments created by locks and dams on the Arkansas River.

One half the daily limit of all species of game fish may be taken from the above named lakes only, by spear guns only, from sunrise until sunset only, and from June 15 through March 15 only. These fish apply on the total daily limit and may not be cleaned or dressed before reaching shore of lakes. Diver exercising these priveleges must fly a standard diver's flag on his boat or other flotation. This flag is square, red, and has a white diagonal stripe and diver must stay within a 300 foot radius of this flag.

ORDER

It shall be unlawful for any non-resident person to hunt without first procuring a valid license to do so, except that non-residents under sixteen years of age are exempt, subject to the following: In the event that a non-resident under sixteen years of age shall kill a deer or turkey, hs must forthwith buy a non-resident all-game license. ($30*00)

PENALTY: #50.00 - $300.00

ORDER

It shall be unlawful to enter or fish in the bay on the East side of Lake Conway into which Chadwick Creek and the Commission nursery pond empties at any time there are signs posted prohibiting such entry and fishing.

PENALTY: $25.00 - $200.00

ORDER FT. CHAFFEE WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

Jt shall be unlawful to enter or trespass on, hunt, fish, camp, or ' otherwise use the Ft. Chaffee Wildlife Management Area in any manner except as herein set out,

PENALTY: #25.00 - #250.00

1. Unlawful to hunt in the Cantonment (Headquarters) Area, also known as the Game ffenagement Area.

2. Unlawful to possess firearms or other killing devices anywhere on Area except during a declared open season on game species and then only during the hours between 5:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. Predators may be killed during open game seasons.

3. Unlawful to possess rifles for any purpose in that part of the Area which lies west of Vache Grasse Creek.

4. Unlawful to discharge firearms from a vehicle*

5. Unlawful to use any traps of any sort for any purpose.

6. Unlawful to enter or leave the Area except at points designated and posted by the U. S, Army.

7. Unlawful to enter, or be within the Area between the hours of 8:00 P.M. and 5:00 A.M. without a permit.

8. Unlawful to camp on Area without permit.

NOTE: Permits for Area usage may be obtained only from the Post Commander or his designates, and only during normal duty hours, which are 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Permits must be carried by the person to whom issued while exercising the priveleges granted and must be exhibited on request of Post Personnel and employees of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

9. Unlawful to use dogs for hunting or chasing deer at any time.

10. Unlawful to carry a firearm while accompanied by dog(s) except for quail hunting, squirrel hunting, or rabbit hunting* Beagles only are allowed for rabbit hunting.

11. Unlawful to take any game animals or birds on the Area except deer, squirrels, quail, dove, and rabbits, and then only in designated areas and times.

12. Unlawful to use buckshot for deer hunting. (Legal rifles and rifled slugs only.)

13. Fox, coyote, raccoon, and rabbit may be chased for pleasure at any time. No guns allowed and permit required between 8:00 P.M. and 5*00 A.M.

14. Archery seasons on Area same as state wide regulations.

15. All deer killed on Area must be reported to Post or Commission personnel before leaving Area.

16. Unlawful to use motors in Engineers lake or to fish in any manner except rod or pole. Other waters on Area covered by same regulations as state wide, unless signs or posters are present which further restrict.
