Rule 002.01.24-153 - 20.17 Season Restrictions During Permit Hunts On WMAs

It is unlawful to enter a WMA during a permit hunt without first obtaining a permit. All seasons not named on the permit are closed during permit hunts on WMAs.

EXCEPTIONS:

A. Waterfowl may be hunted during waterfowl seasons.

B. Other hunting seasons remain open during permit hunts on Buffalo National River, Bearcat Hollow, DeGray Lake, Gene Rush, and Rick Evans Grandview Prairie WMAs for hunting without a permit.

C. Persons providing hunting assistance to a permit holder (Code 01.00-C).

D. Deer may be hunted during the buck-only archery hunt (Addendum A1.01).

PENALTY: Class 1
