Rule 002.01.24-005 - 03.15 Nonresident Guide License Requirements

It is unlawful for any nonresident to guide, aid or assist another person, for pay or other consideration, in the taking of any species of wildlife by any means in Arkansas without possessing on the person the appropriate Arkansas licenses and proof of general liability insurance as provided herein:

A. To guide, aid or assist another person, for pay or other consideration, in for hunting on land not owned or leased by the Commission, the guide must have physical possession of the following:

(1) a valid Arkansas Nonresident hunting license;

(2) a valid Arkansas Nonresident Guide License/Hunting; and

(3) proof of at least $100,000 general liability insurance coverage for the guide's business operations.

B. To guide, aid or assist another person, for pay or other consideration, for fishing in Arkansas, the guide must have physical possession of the following:

(1) a valid Arkansas Nonresident fishing license;

(2) a valid Arkansas Nonresident Guide License/Fishing; and

(3) proof of at least $100,000 general liability insurance coverage for the guide's business operations.

C. It also is unlawful for any nonresident to exercise the rights of the Resident Special Guide License.
