Code Book
The regulations in this Code Book are hereby adopted by the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission under authority of Amendment 35 to the Constitution of the State of Arkansas. All laws, rules, regulations, or orders in conflict with the regulations in this Code Book are hereby repealed by the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission.
05.11 Hunting Prohibited In State And National Parks
It is unlawful to hunt wildlife or possess any killing device in any state or national park in Arkansas.
EXCEPTIONS:
A. Buffalo National River WMA during an open
season.
B. During specified hunting
seasons and in designated hunting areas on Hobbs State Park Conservation
Area.
C. Shooting ranges on Hobbs
State Park-Conservation Area and Ozark Folk Center, in compliance with rules
posted at each location.
D. In
accordance with an approved management plan of a state or federally-owned
property participating in the Deer Management Assistance Program or other plan
approved by the Chief of Wildlife Management.
E. In compliance with Code 05.19.
